Since 1986, Personnel Employment has been making a difference not only to the lives of people with disabilities, but also to their families. As an industry leader, we provide employment opportunities and transition services for people with disabilities.
Personnel Employment is a division of Barkuma Incorporated and was the first open employment service to be established in South Australia. Over the years we have grown considerably and now assist over 800 people with disabilities, work with 400 businesses and employ nearly 100 staff.
We provide a tailored approach for every individual and we pride ourselves on using an inclusive manner to help build long term relationships with parents and carers. We firmly believe that people with disabilities should be given the same opportunities to access education and employment, enabling them to be part of the community like everyone else.
